May Vacation Part 4: Last Days at the Beach

We stayed at the beach until Friday.  We had planned to leave on Thursday, but it was so nice and we were having a great time so we decided to stay one more night.  We just thought we'd share some more photos we took while we were there.

We went out to eat with Andy's sister Rebekah and her husband Ryan and their family.  Then we went out to a pier and walked it looking at all the crabs and critters along the way.  I didn't take a camera then-only my cell phone to snap a few pictures.

One night while we were there, all 8 of the kids stayed with us while Rebekah and Ryan went out to eat.  We decided to let them swim and then walk down the beach about half a mile to an ice cream shop right on the beach.  It was a lot of fun to spend time with neices and nephews and watch the cousins playing together.

Our last night there, we went out to Barefoot on the Beach in Myrtle Beach.  It's an area of shops and activities, piers you can walk, an inlet with turtles and such.  We enjoyed walking around together.  Some of the kids did a bungee bounce thing and many of us even rode a mechanical bull!

After that, we packed up and headed our own ways.  I have one last vacation post coming up.  Thanks for bearing with me sharing all of these pictures.  It's been fun and it will be a great journal for our family!
