Quinn has made significant improvements over the last several days. However, yesterday and today he was starting to have more complications. In sedation, he has bit his tongue. While that may not seem a huge issue, Quinn's body is not able to stop bleeding and clot normally. And, right now, he does not have an immune system due to the chemotherapy and other medical procedures he has been through. Also, due to changes in his care, his body is not filtering out fluid as it should be and he is retaining it at dangerous levels. Should this continue, his liver could suffer damage. This is Day 12 of intubation.
