I read the line to her. I read "The long sound for e is E like in......" and before I could say or point at the picture, Grace says excitedly "Ostrich!!" It was about 3 seconds before all of her siblings started laughing and then she realized there is not an EEeee in Ostrich!!
Aunt Corina, we believe it is supposed to be E like in "Emu"!
