FREE pears!
Our neighbors have a handful of very nice sons. They and their father (our pastor) picked quite a few pears off a neighbor's tree today. It was more than they could do something with in time before they went bad so they swung by and shared with us! Here are the 'few' pears they brought us today.
(that is a 33 gallon Rubbermaid Container)
I see in our future pear sauce, pear preserves, pear pie, pear pudding, pear gumbo, pear cobbler,
pear lo mein, pear kabobs, sliced pear, puree o'pear, pear bacon, pear.....you get the pearture.
What would you do with a barrel o' pears?

Hmmmmm...am I supposed to place my order for some pearsauce? Or pear jelly? You will be busy this next week making all your stuff!
