Broccoli Pajama Pants

Yep, you read that right.  Broccoli Pajama Pants.  Rachel has been learning to sew lately and on a recent trip to Hancock Fabric, she discovered Broccoli fabric.  Since her little brother LOVES broccoli, she decided she wanted to make him some pajama pants out of this fabric.  Not only that, but she also bought him Glow-in-the-dark thread to use when sewing them.  They are a little big for him, but he LOVED them and has worn them almost every night since.

Anthony loves broccoli, too!! I've never heard of glow-in-the-dark thread - that's awesome!

It's Mettler thread (more expensive kind) and it did pretty well. Of course, you hardly see any of the seams for it to actually glow so Rachel did lots of zig zag stitching across the bottom and around the waist. She's showing him the thread in one of the pics :) He's worn them so much though, I'm not sure how many washes they'll last and still glow!
