A few years ago, Papa and Granny took a trip and brought home souvenirs for all the kids. One of the souvenirs was a name cup for each child. At the time, I figured they would just go in the cabinet and be used randomly just like any of their other cups. However, we soon learned how helpful it was to have cups with their names on them! Especially in a house with 4 children! These cups have literally been used every day since. They know they are not to get out other cups, but are to look for their name cups. IF their name cups are in the dishwasher, they are to get them out and rinse them for use. If the dishwasher is running or if they are drinking hot chocolate (or coffee....well, they ARE Andy's children :), they may get out another cup.
It also provides a memory tag that enables us to think of Papa and Granny every time we pull the cups out of the cabinet or dishwasher. Every time we use them we can say a prayer of thanks for them and their love for us. So, we just wanted to write this blog post and say Thank you Granny and Papa for such a nice gift!!
"I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ;"

I love the name cups too!! Keep your eyes open for an Isaac one. We can't find one anywhere!
Yeah, the manufacturer doesn't make an Isaac one. We looked before trying to get him one for a gift, but they didn't make it. :(
Looks like I'll have to try and contact the manufacturer and request they make them. I know he's not the only Isaac out there. We wound up just getting a James one, but I'd love an Isaac one since that's his name.
