Visit with special friends....

Last night we had the most wonderful visit with our good friends Joey and CC and family.  Joey and CC have been at New Tribes Mission Training in preparation for serving God on the mission field.  They recently completed their training and are now raising support to be able to go where God is sending them.  We are so excited for them and are praying for them as they move through this transition period.  They are trusting God to get them to the mission field as soon as possible.  If you would like information about supporting them personally (every small amount helps), please email me and I will get you the information.

While they visited, we had a great time.  All the kids spent over 2 hours outside in the snow without a break working on a snowfort my kids had started a couple days before.  They worked so hard and then they attacked their daddies when they came home from errands.  Then Cassie and Nathan even built a snowman too!

I think CC and I had as much fun watching them as they did working on it.  When they had been out there a full 2 hours, we made hot chocolate for all of them as well as for a few straggler neighbor kids that had decided to join in.

After the really fun time of playing in the snow.  We had supper and then moved on to playing a really fun game of Mexican Train Dominoes.  Joey and CC taught us all how to play and our game lasted about 4 hours!!  It was SO much fun.  We laughed and played and sang and caught up after all these months of not being able to visit them.  We feel truly blessed to have such great friends that we consider a part of our family!
