Our Christmas Eve

This year was a very different Christmas for us.  We are so thankful to have Andy back with us from being deployed.  We recently moved to Kansas and are spending our first (and only) Christmas in our new home.  We also were not able to do a few of the usual traditions we do.  But, one tradition is the most important of all to us.  We sit and listen as Daddy reads from the Bible about the birth of Jesus Christ.  The only reason we celebrate Christmas and the only reason we have life itself!

We will not be able to see Aunt Corina, Uncle Richard and the boys this year so when that happens we usually will open the presents from them on Christmas Eve.  So, that's what we did last night and the kids were SO excited and loved their gifts.

Then, as we were getting ready for bed we realized it had officially started snowing here and it was EVERYWHERE.

We got the kids all settled in bed.  They wanted to sleep in the basement so they could all be up first thing this morning and all come in together to wake us up and see their gifts.

"For unto you is born this day, in the city of David: A Saviour, which is Christ the Lord."
Luke 2: 11

Looks like fun! So glad they enjoyed the gifts....we sure love you guys!

Hey, love the composition pictures - you can put more on there that way. What program are you using to do that?? Will have to play with that possibility when I get home!

Merry Christmas!

Exactly. That was why I did that. And, if you click on it, it still blows it up really big where you can look at them. It's Picasa (which is free to download) and you just create a folder on there and then click "collage" and it turns it into that. There are several formats to choose from. I did this one so you could see all of them.
