I just wanted to share what we found on my rose bushes. Okay, okay, really I just wanted to show off my new camera and photography skills, but here it is anyway:
It's a GIANT, man-eating locust! No, actually it's only about 2 inches long. My new camera has this awesome macro feature where I could literally touch the thing with my lens and it would still focus on it. This creepy little guy was more than happy to be a subject of my photo and posed quite nicely for me.
Way cool huh?! I edited the photo using http://www.picnik.com There are a ton of different formats and features on this program. The best part is that you don't have to download software to use it, you do it all online and then save the photo to your computer. Voila! You're done!
