Labor Day Weekend

Yesterday, we taught our two older kids how to play Risk. If you've ever played the game, you'll know there's a lot of strategy involved and there are lots of rules to learn. Thus, it took us 3 hours to play our first game!! We were not surprised that they really picked up on it right away. They loved Chess when we taught it to them a few weeks ago and they couldn't wait to learn to play this game. Oh, by the way, Mommy won!

Today (Sunday), we visited a church in the area. We had visited this church one other time and really enjoyed it and this time we went back to visit again. The people were very nice and very friendly. We haven't shook that many hands in a long time. Both Andy and I feel very comfortable at this church so far. We are continuing to pray that God will lead us to the church He would like for us to be at.

We plan on finishing the weekend out with a fun day enjoying the kids tomorrow. We'll probably straighten up the house and then spend the rest of the day playing games or walking outside.

Have a great week!
